Measuring 132.2 x 51.7 mm with a viewing area of 130.2 x 36.7 mm, the CDS-51405 graphical user interface (GUI) integrates a 240 x 64 LCD, white LED backlight, and an optional touchscreen. The unit requires 5V and an RS-232 interface for operation and includes all software and hardware for contrast control, backlighting, multiple fonts, and image generation. Two modes are available: blue mode with white LED backlight and yellow mode with black pixels and yellow backlighting. The touch-screen option employs a four-wire screen to accommodate pen or touch input and can withstand up to 10 million finger touches. Transmissivity is greater than 80% and the touch controller is integrated on the board.
