An 8.7 million hour MTBF. The capability to withstand a 100V transient for 100ms. Operation over a -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature range. Such are the features of Power-One's new 300W HBC48T25120 isolated dc-dc converter.

An 8.7 million hour MTBF. The capability to withstand a 100V transient for 100ms. Operation over a -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature range. Such are the features of Power-One's new 300W HBC48T25120 isolated dc-dc converter.

Other important aspects of the 9.6 to 13.2VOUT half-brick dc-dc converter include no minimum load operation, the capability to start up into pre-biased loads, and a 36-75Vdc input range, as well as an on-board LC filter. The HBC48T25120 is built around an open-frame singleboard design and offers an optional baseplate.

Internal protections include input undervoltage, output overvoltage and overcurrent, and overtemperature. Among its interface capabilities are remote sense, industry-standard outputvoltage trim equations, and positive or negative logic remote on/off options. Compliances include RoHS, UL94 V-0 flammability, UL60950, and IEC/EN60950.
