Hard-Metric Connector System Meets IEC 61076-4-101

The har-bus HM two-mm, hard metric connector system meets the requirements of IEC 6107-4-101. The system features straight and right-angle press-fit connectors, rear shrouds, and coding keys.
In addition to standard models, the connectors are available for VME64x and Compact PCI, including special connectors for hot-swap and computer telephony PICMG specifications. The system combines the Types A and B22 connectors into a one-piece molding.
The company also can provide tooling and press-fit machines for installing the connectors on printed circuit boards. Pricing for a Type A female connector without a shield is $4.82 each/1000 and a Type A male for CompactPCI costs $4.64 each/1000, available from stock to up to six weeks ARO.
