The Fujitsu Industrial D2703-S Mini-ITX motherboard is an industrial-grade board engineered to withstand continuous around-the-clock operation. Based on AMD’s M690E/SB600 chipset, and featuring ATI’s advanced Radeon X1250 integrated graphics and supporting AMD’s Mobile Sempron and Turion processors, this board is suited for both fanless and high-performance systems requiring enhanced graphics capabilities. With four SATA (3 Gb/s), one IDE, and one CF slot (with vertical orientation to minimize footprint), and support for RAID 0, 1, and 0+1, it is also useful for storage applications. The ability to use a standard 20-pin ATX power supply or the 24-V onboard power source provides additional configurations when pairing the board with an enclosure. Support for up to 8 GB RAM (OS-dependant) and FireWire (one port on rear I/O, one pin header), often reserved for larger form factors, comes as standard. In addition, the board’s dual-channel LVDS support and readily available BIOS customization tools add to its flexibility. The D2703-S is comes bundled with an AMD Turion TL-56 CPU for $319 each; other CPU options are available upon request. LOGIC SUPPLY INC., South Burlington, VT. (802) 861-2300.
