Keyboard Controller Eases System Designs

The ACPITroller series of embedded keyboard controllers for portable computers has been expanded to now include a chip that can act as both an 8042 human input device controller and ACPI embedded controller. In addition, the ACPITroller 342 is said to provide plenty of GPIO and one SMBus port for connecting smart batteries and other smart devices.
