A tough steel and ABS housing supports a single sheet of silicone rubber keys in a new NEMA 4 keyboard. This combination proves to be immune to the grit and grime found in most industrial shops and laboratories. Also, the new OIX 4108 keyboard includes mouse keys that point in any direction, with left- and right-click action as well. Only 0.99''H x 15.9''W x 5.7''D, the keyboard fits into a 1U rack-mount drawer or a conventional under-the-desktop keyboard tray. The unit weighs 2.86 lb. and can withstand temperatures from -20°C to 80°C and humidity from 10% to 90% non-condensing. Stroke force is 180 ±30g and stroke length is 0.06''. The keyboard has 108 keys and connectors for either PS/2 or USB ports and incorporates layout, dimensioning and electrical characteristics that conform to Windows 98 standards.
