Conventional copper-wire KVM (Keyboard, video, mouse) signals can only reach distances of 500’ but the KVME 1000 transmitter-receiver pair uses fiber optic technology to extend that distance to 3,300’. It can transmit PS/2, USB, or Sun keyboard and mouse signals plus DVI or VGA video signals while using the same or a different set of signals at the receiving end. All electronic input and output signals are automatically combined into one KVM signal, providing more options than conventional KVMs. The unit also supports BNC stereo emitter audio signals. An operating keyboard, video and mouse can simultaneously be located at both the local and remote ends of the circuit. Price is $5,995 each. CYBERRESEARCH INC., Branford, CT. (800) 341-2525.
