Targeting portable-device applications, the S1D13A04 is said to offer savings in board space and power consumption with respect to comparable devices. The on-chip 2-D engine is compatible with all operating systems that require windowing functions and comes with royalty-free drivers for Windows CE, Palm, Linux, and other operating systems.
