The APSC SMD LED display eliminates manual inserting to reduce time and decrease the assembly cost associated with the manual insertion process. It features a flat pad design with an inner connection. Eliminating the need for leads, this design enables automatic pick-and-place as well as easy mounting on a pc board.

The display is 0.148 in. thick, with a character height of 0.4 in. It suits use in compact devices that require digital numerical display capabilities and excellent character appearance. The device operates under current as low as 2 mA. It functions over the industrial-temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. A range of colors may be selected, including those in the visible spectrum as well as ultra-bright options.
