Low-Cost SBC Sports Ethernet Connectivity

Designed for embedded control and monitoring applications, the BL2000 is a low-cost, Ethernet-enabled, single-board computer (SBC). Measuring 3.43" x 4.15", the standard BL2000 includes up to 28 digital I/Os, four RS-232/485 serial ports, a 22 MHz microprocessor, 128 KB of SRAM and 256 KB of flash, onboard relay, LEDs, seven timers, and battery-backed time/date clock. Available in four configurationsÑtwo with Ethernet and two withoutÑtwo models feature 9 channels of A/D conversion and D/A capability and two models feature 11 channels of A/D conversion.All models can be programmed and debugged over Ethernet/Internet using appropriate accessory hardware. In addition, systems with built-in 10Base-T Ethernet can be directly controlled and monitored across any network or the Internet and can also open sockets to remote devices, serve web pages, or send email. Price of the BL2000 starts at $199 with Ethernet and $159 without. It is fully supported by the companyÕs Dynamic C Premier development system, available for $295.
