The new LD series of low-profile dc/ac inverters is designed to power 10.4” to 15” diagonal LCDs backlit by two to four cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL) or CCF tubes. Powered by a regulated 12 Vdc source, the LD series inverters deliver up to 10W of output power, have integrated I/O connectors, and are 8 mm in height. The inverters are said to be highly efficient and fully compatible with the majority of controller cards in use today. The LD’s wide dimming range is achieved by on-board PWM controlled by an analog voltage signal, so the LD can be easily dimmed by supplying an analog signal. The devices measure 6.15''L x 1.03''W and weigh 26g. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C. Pricing is $25.37 each/1,000. ENDICOTT RESEARCH GROUP INC., Endicott, NY. (800) 215-5866.
