Low-Profile, SMT Board Connector Finds Use In PCI Technology

Sept. 1, 2000

Developed for use in PCI technology, the PCPR connector is a new interconnect designed for use in add-on cards for PCI LAN/modem applications in smaller systems such as notebook PCs, docking stations and set-top boxes. The discretely wired SMT board connector carries an ultra-low profile of just 1.85 mm and contact spacing of 1.25 mm. It incorporates a blade-type contact design to protect against damage during mating.
