The AMB-D255T3, a fanless Mini-ITX mainboard recently unveiled by Acrosser Technology, features Intel’s D2550 dual-core 1.86-GHz Atom processor. Other key attributes include onboard graphics via VGA and HDMI, DDR3 SO-DIMM support, a PCI slot, an mSATA socket with SATA and USB signals, and an ATX connector to facilitate power in. Among the available input/output options are six COM ports, six USB2.0 ports, two GbE RJ-45 ports, and two SATA ports. The D255T3 supports dual displays with VGA, HDMI, or 18-bit LVDS. A MiniPCIe-type slot works with SATA and USB that can be equipped with an mSATA storage module. Applications would involve those that require powerful computing while maintaining low power consumption in small form-factor motherboards.
