New subminiature toggle, rocker, pushbutton and slide switches measuring one-third the size of conventional miniature switches have been designed specifically for logic level applications. The A series of toggles, rockers and pushbuttons are washable and incorporate the company’s sliding twin crossbar mechanism. This contact design ensures switching reliability and a smoother positive detent action. A completely-sealed body construction allows the switches to withstand automated soldering and cleaning techniques. The A series toggles and rockers come in both single pole and double pole models with 11 circuits in momentary and maintained actions. Engineers can specify toggle actuators in a myriad of styles and lengths. Pushbuttons are offered in single and double pole momentary circuits and can be ordered with various plunger lengths. Caps are available in two diameters measuring .201" or .295" and come standard in either black, red or white. An anti-static design prevents static discharge to the contacts. The switches are rated 0.4 VA maximum at 28V ac/dc maximum. Terminal spacing is .100" x .100" conforming to standard PC board grid spacing. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
