These board-mountable high-voltage converters measure only 1.5" x 1.5" x 0.6", but can deliver up to 5 kV or 6 kV. The dc-to-HV dc converters also offer isolated outputs and low EMI/RFI specs by use of a quasi-sinewave oscillator and shielded transformer. In addition, an output center-tap option enables the device to provide positive and negative high voltage outputs. Other features of the modules include short-circuit protection and a low, 0.7V turn-on voltage.
