Miniature Snap Switches Handle High Currents

Oct. 1, 1999

With current ratings from 0.1A at 5 vdc to 10A at 125/250 vac, Snap Switch SPDT switches have initial contact resistances from 30 to 200 milliohms maximum. The switches come in a variety of industry-standard styles and offer long life Be-Cu spring mechanisms. Some styles include an integral hinged actuator. Terminations are solder terminal or pc board mounting types. Mechanical life is from 1 to 10 million operations, depending on part number. Applications are telecomm, instrumentation and medical equipment.
