Men Micro is delivering systems on a new platform it calls Embedded System Modules (ESMs). ESMs plug into mezzanine card slots, providing single-board-computing (SBC) power in a small space. Boards can usually support multiple ESMs. Men Micro provides a range of ESMs with processors ranging from Pentiums to Power PCs. The EM02 sports a Pentium III processor with a CompactFlash slot and up to 512 Mbytes of SD-DIMM RAM. Pricing starts at $795 for single units.
