Providing circuit protection in tip-and-ring applications, the new modules save board space by integrating fuses, overvoltage protectors, and resistor networks into a vertical-mount, single inline package (SIP). Four- and two-channel modules are available packaged on a ceramic substrate and measuring 2.25" x 0.46" x 0.493" and 1.125" x 0.46" x 0.493", respectively. The 1.25A fuses comply with UL 1950/60950 and Telcordia and Bellcore GR-1089 specs for tip-and-ring protection. The modules can withstand lightening surges in accordance with FCC 47, Part 68. Operating temperatures range from -50°C to 125°C. Prices start at $10 each in production quantities. BEL FUSE INC., Jersey City, NJ. (800) 235-3873.
