High-speed digital and analog I/O supplied by the PMC-DAADIO multifunction PCI mezzanine card (PMC) makes it possible to control and monitor a wide range of external functions. By integrating a Motorola DSP56F807 DSP, the card can manage a variety of external I/O-intensive applications. This will, in turn, minimize demands on the processing capability of the PMC host. The board provides eight differential analog input channels as well as eight single-ended analog outputs, all operating at 12-bit resolution. It incorporates 18 transistor-transistor-logic digital I/O lines and counter-timer I/O. The card's PMC-to-PCI interface is a 32-bit, 33-MHz PLX9030 PCI target interface with memory-mapped I/O that supports 3- and 5-V signaling levels. Pricing starts at $995 each, depending on configuration. Delivery is within six weeks.
