NPT-Trenchgate technology, which reduces power losses by up to 20% while improving turn-on/turn-off behavior of the IGBT, is now available in the EconoPACK+ package. This new package features solder-pin connections to the driver board and screw-type connections to the DC-Bus structure for source and load. Designed for motor drive and UPS applications, EconoPACK+ modules are available in 3-phase bridge configurations in 1200V with currents ranging from 150A to 450A. Pricing for prototype quantities starts at $405 for the 6x150A/1200V module.
