Offered as low-cost, panel-mount components, the EC204B025A and RE25NS25X optical encoders are available with four output configurations: solder hole, lead wire, printed-circuit-board mount, and header connector. The EC204B025A provides a resolution of 25 ppr, a detent, and requires a maximum input of 5 Vdc.Similar in all other respects, the RE25NS25X is available with a 3.3 Vdc CMOS or 5 Vdc TTL input and with or without a detent.
