For easier prototyping, the latest version of the modular Options Board family provides a simple method for supporting multiple interconnect formats. Available initially in 3U and 6U 160-mm and 6U 220-mm and 280-mm boards in single and double sided square pad and stripline formats plus a square pad PTH board, the new units feature a cutout at one or both ends to accommodate a mezzanine board that is pre-configured to accept Min D and USB connectors. The single ended boards feature the traditional DIN41612 connector at one end and at the other end there is a choice of mezzanine boards for a 15-way min D and USB A and B, a 25-way Min D and USB A or B or a 37-way Min D. The double-ended versions enable mezzanine boards to be mixed and matched as required. VERO TECHNOLOGIES LTD., Hants, England. +44(0) 1489-776933.
