No bigger than a credit card, these powerful microprocessor core modules facilitate development of embedded systems with integrated Ethernet connectivity. The RCM2100 and RCM2200 RabbitCore series give designers a package of control and communications capabilities with instant local or worldwide connectivity. The power-packed RCM2100/2200 core modules include the Rabbit microprocessor, up to 1 MB of memory, and an Ethernet interface and connector. Also included are 4 series ports, battery-backable clock, cold boot capability, slave mode operation, and up to 40 I/O lines. Models are differentiated by size, memory, and I/O configurations. The RCM2100/2200 series are priced from $59/$49 each and $42/$34 each/1,000. The development kit, priced at $279, includes the Ethernet core module, prototyping board, Dynamic C SE development system and networking software, documentation, power supply, and PC serial cable.
