Parallel Sampling cPCI ADC Paces At 2.5 MHz

Sept. 1, 2001

Measuring just 4" x 6.25", the CPCI-510P 3U, CompactPCI a/d converter board provides parallel sampling across four channels with a 14-bit resolution and a 2.5 MHz sampling rate. The board provides user-selectable, full-scale input ranges of 0 to 5V or ±2.5V and each channel can sample up to 2.5 MHz in parallel or 3 MHz per channel in single-channel mode. The a/d outputs feed an on-board 8,192-sample FIFO memory, designed for non-stop streaming to host memory. The a/d section is clocked by a programmable frequency synthesizer or external sample clock and a 16-bit d/a converter doubles as an analog level trigger. Software support includes Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000, C++, LabVIEW, and ActiveX controls. Price is $1,850. DATEL INC., Mansfield, MA. (508) 339-3000.
