The 104-IDI-48 series PC/104 utility boards feature 48 individually optically isolated digital inputs. Enabled inputs provide change-of-state detection that automatically interrupts the host in real time. When one or more input bits change state, an interrupt is generated to automatically wake up the application. Polarity insensitive, each input is rectified by photo-coupler diodes making either positive, negative, and ac-voltage inputs acceptable. Input range is up to 60 Vdc/acRMS at frequencies from 40 Hz to 10 kHz. Other features include ac or voltage-transient filtering, an optional -40°C to +85°C operating temperature, and compatibility with industry-standard I/O racks. The boards support most operating systems and include a free DOS, Linux and Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/2003 software package, which contains sample programs and source code in C for DOS, and Visual Basic, Delphi, C++ Builder, and Visual C++ for Windows. Price for the Model 104-IDI-48AC with 48 isolated inputs and change detection is $349. ACCES I/O PRODUCTS INC., San Diego, CA. (800) 326-1649.
