PC/104 CPU Module Claims To Be Industy's Densest

Claiming to be the industry's densest PC/104 CPU module, the Scalable CPU II measures about the same size as a credit card and can be scaled across CPUs ranging from a 486-16 using up to 1 MB of RAM to a Pentium 200 MHz CPU using up to 64 MB of RAM. Standard PC features include support for a VGA/SVGA display, IDE hard- and floppy-disk drives, one parallel and two serial ports, and PS/2 mouse and keyboard interfaces.
Embedded features include an NE2000-compatible 10BaseT Ethernet port, SVGA LCD interface, and 16 bi-directional digital I/O lines. The unit also has an M-Systems DiskOnChip socket that accepts rewritable flash memory modules from 2 to 72 MB, accessible as a standard hard drive using built-in ROM code. The board supports PC-DOS, MS-DOS, Windows 3.x/95/NT and QNX. Window 98 support is forthcoming.
