Targeting vehicular/aircraft controls, medical equipment, and other OEM applications in the European market, the PC/104-Plus Lynx single-board computer is the company’s first RoHS-compliant embedded SBC. The company has also worked with vendors to evaluate and certify plating on all components to address tin-whisker concerns in long-term applications. The board measures 3.55” x 3.775” and enlists an AMD Elan SC520 486-class CPU. Standard features include 64 MB of soldered SDRAM, four COM ports, Ethernet, IDE, LPT, two counter/timers, floppy interface, and keyboard/mouse ports. The PC/104-Plus interface supports both ISA and PCI add-on modules and standard pass-through connectors accommodate either above or below PC/104 add-on modules.
