PCB-Mount Receptacles Trigger More Compact Designs

March 1, 2001

Offered as the industry's smallest printed circuit board (PCB) receptacles, the Micro-Change and Nano-Change PCB-mount receptacles are designed to free up board space and target industrial-grade instrumentation, sensor and other control-device applications. Their compact footprint integrates directly into board layouts, eliminating secondary assembly operations.Incorporating an integral metal jacket, the receptacles snap and solder onto a board, making them compatible with automated PCB manufacturing techniques. The receptacles provide a quick-disconnect feature.
A large selection of both male and female connectors is available in straight and 90° configurations. Closure is rated to NEMA 6 and the connection is rated to IP 68, making the devices suited for harsh environments.
