PCI Card Family Sires New Member

Offered as the lite member of the e.Card distributed query processor family of PCI cards, the e.Card Lite has less memory than its relatives. Targeting mid-range applications, the board includes the company's UTCAM-Engine content-addressable memory (CAM) with 256 MB of system memory and up to 512 MB of CAM memory. Features include a 64-bit, 100 MHz data bus, programmable query operation through an on-board 250 MHz, 64-bit MIPS processor, and a 32- or 64-bit PCI interface running at 33 or 66 MHz. A complete set of software development tools is available, as well as a Linux driver. Price is $1,495, plus memory cost, for both hardware and software. AEROFLEX UTMC, Colorado Springs, CO.
