Assuming position as the lowest-cost PCI data-acquisition (DAQ) boards, the DaqBoard/500 series costs approximately 33% less than comparable 16-bit boards. The series includes two boards: the DaqBoard/505 with 16 analog inputs, 24 digital I/O lines, and one counter input, and the DaqBoard/500 that adds two waveform-capable, 16-bit analog outputs. Shared features include a 16-bit, 200-kHz a/d converter one counter input, two timer outputs, DMA bus mastering, and no potentiometers, jumpers, or switches. Software support includes drivers for all Windows-based environments including Visual Basic, C/C++, ActiveX/COM, and LabVIEW.
