Enhancing the company's line of D-Pak heatsinks, the D Pak surface-mount (SMT) heatsinks are available on tape-and-reels to accommodate SMT automatic placement equipment. The heatsinks feature a hot-solder dip coating over conductive copper for maximum heat transfer. The part is mounted over the target device and solder-mounted to a solder pad on the circuit board; no thermal interface is required. The sink is also tinned to 0.63 mm in thickness to promote solderability. For more information and prices, call THERMASHIELD LLC, Laconia, NH. (603) 524-3714.
