Powell Electronics, Philadelphia, PA, a national distributor of value-added interconnect devices and assemblies, switches, board-level components, batteries, and other components, has been named an authorized distributor by Times Microwave Systems, Wallingford, CT. It will distribute the firm's high-performance flexible and semi-rigid coax cables, connectors and cable assemblies. The cable products are used in cellular/PCS, paging, land mobile radio and datacomm RF transmission applications. Powell will also carry TMS's Nu-TRAC triaxial radiating cable, which functions as a continuous antenna and can extend coverage for many types of communications systems.
