The HA1600A ac-power analyzer handles single-phase loads up to 16 ARMS, a feature that reportedly speeds and simplifies power-compliance measurements. It measures first to 40th harmonics and updates the display in real time. Dual power cables allow the load supply to operate independent of the supply to the instrument. Load output is accessible via a front-panel line/mains connector, and a range of power connectors are available including most international types. Measurement functions include Watts, VA, VRMS, peak voltage, ARMS, peak current, Crest factors, THD, power factor, frequency, and inrush current. For readout, a large high-resolution display is on board, capable of continuous real-time analysis. I/O consists of a printer interface, RS-232 and USB ports, and a HA-PC Link. The unit weighs under 10 lbs., measures 14" x 9" x 5", and comes with Windows-based software. Pricing starts at $2,899. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
