Designed to carry high-density power and signals in MicroTCA applications, the MINIPAK HD power connector handles up to 280A of current and provides 72 signal contacts in a space measuring 65 mm x 27 mm. This translates into a current density exceeding 170A per square inch. The connector utilizes a flat-rock seating design for the compliant press-fit vertical receptacle while the mating right-angle plug employs solder tails that support circuit boards measuring from 0.062" to 0.093" thick. Also, the connectors are RoHS compliant. Prices for the right-angle plug and vertical receptacle are $9.76 and $7.61 each/1,000, respectively. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752
