Jan. 1, 2000

Suitable for use with switchmode power supplies, this power entry module is designed to switch equipment and peripherals on/off simultaneously. The compact integrated unit includes a one- or two-pole switch, ac inlet and outlet, and an optional two-position voltage-selector jumper. A daisy-chain power cord connects the peripheral to the equipment, eliminating the need for a separate power switch on the peripheral.Pre-wiring is achieved through terminations to a pc board on the back of the unit. A rear cover insulates the pc board terminations. The device, called the PMM, meets UL, CSA and VDE safety approvals at 10A/250V.
