Built for controlling smaller automotive-type accessories, a new line of electromechanical relays (EMRs) has been developed that has a contact rating of 20A at 14 Vdc and comes with 6, 12, and 24 Vdc coils. The relays feature silver alloy contacts that can switch up to 75 Vdc.
Measuring 0.9" x 0.6" x 1.0" high, the FRC7 series of EMRs are designed for use from -40°C to 85°C at 85% RH and have a life expectancy of 107 mechanical and 105 electrical at rated load. Models are available with SPST or SPDT contacts, sealed or unsealed, and in quick-connect plug-in and pc board terminal types. Pricing is from $1.25 each, depending on type and quantity.
