Addressing embedded applications that require dynamic multimedia and data processing capabilities, the ECM-5710 single-board computer (SBC) employs a Pentium 4 or Celeron processor with an SiS 651 chipset and a 533 MHz front side bus to achieve operating speeds up to 3.06 GHz. A single socket accommodates up to 1 GB of DDR 333 SDRAM. In terms of multimedia, the board integrates an AGP4X 2D and 3D graphics engine that supports LCDs and CRTs with a frame buffer up to 64 MB. It also supports TV-out and LVDS via two digital-graphics inputs. The TV encoder outputs resolutions up to 1,024 x 768 in either NTSC or PAL formats and the LVDS transmitter operates at pixel speeds up to 165 MHz per link.
