Itox's ML936-B16 single-board computer (SBC), in Embedded Compact Extended (ECX) format, incorporates an Intel Atom Z530P and US15WP System Controller Hub.

Based on the 1.6-GHz Intel Atom Z530P processor and the Intel US15WP System Controller Hub, the ML936-B16 single-board computer comes in the Embedded Compact Extended (ECX) format. The SBC incorporates a 200-pin SODIMM socket for up to 1 Gbyte of 400-/533-MHz system memory. The board includes one PCI Express Gigabit LAN controller, four USB 2.0 ports, two serial COM ports, one PS/2 port, and one IDE Ultra ATA/100 interface. Also on board are one Trusted Platform Module 1.2 header and 24-bit stereo audio. An integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 within the US15WP provides a DVI graphics port and an LVDS display interface supporting 18- and 24-bit panels. For additional I/O capability, the company has implemented an expansion daughterboard option. Samples of the ML936-B16 and the first daughterboard, the EXT-ECX2, will be available in July. The ML936-B16 costs $325 and the EXT-ECX option is $55. OEM pricing is available. ITOX APPLIED COMPUTING, East Brunswick, NJ. (800) 200-4869.
