Now available in an extended-temperature configuration, the VSBC-8e features a 350-MHz Celeron processor. The single-board computer (SBC) operates between ­40°C and 85°C. The Socket 370 VSBC-8e features PC/104-Plus expansion and AGP video with flat-panel support. It also offers 10/100BaseT Ethernet, sound support, and up to 256 Mbytes of SDRAM. The SBC in-cludes a full complement of on-board industrial features, including an Opto 22-compatible digital I/O port, four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485), and three extra timer/counters. The VSBC-8e (extended temperature version with 350-MHz Celeron CPU) costs $878 in low OEM quantities.
