In addition to an E7501 chipset, the XPT single-board computer employs two Intel Xeon processors combined with up to 8 GB of DDR RAM, 400 MHz and 533 MHz system buses, and dual 10/100/1,000 Base-T Ethernet ports. A board using dual 2 GHz processors

In addition to an E7501 chipset, the XPT single-board computer employs two Intel Xeon processors combined with up to 8 GB of DDR RAM, 400 MHz and 533 MHz system buses, and dual 10/100/1,000 Base-T Ethernet ports. A board using dual 2 GHz processors supports a 400 MHz front side bus, and a board with dual 2.4 GHz processors supports a 533 MHz FSB. The Xeon processors include an L2 cache memory of 512 KB with an eight-way set associative cache running at full processor core speed. With a maximum bus speed of 133 MHz available for use with external devices, an on-board PCI-X bus is said to maximize Ethernet and optional Ultra320 SCSI data transfer operations. The optional dual Ultra320 SCSI interfaces provide data transfer rates up to 320 MB/s. Other features include an ATI Technologies video controller with 16 MB of video memory that supports resolutions from VGA (640 x 480) to UXGA (1,600 x 1,200) with a color depth setting up to 32-bit true color. Hardware monitoring, two serial ports, two USB ports, a bi-directional parallel port, watchdog timer, and PS/2 mouse, keyboard and floppy-disk drive interfaces are also included.
