SBC Uses 850-MHz Pentium III

The VMIVME-7697A single-board computer (SBC) incorporates the Pentium III processor with MMX technology at speeds of up to 850 MHz. The board includes three programmable 32-bit timers, 128 KB of battery-backed SRAM, a software-selectable watchdog timer with reset, remote Ethernet booting, a PMC mezzanine expansion site, enhanced bus error handling, passive heat sink, and up to 512 MB of SDRAM using a 144-pin SODIMM.
Standard features include a 64-bit AGP SVGA controller with 4 MB of internal SDRAM, a 100-MHz system bus, fast Ethernet controller, and a parallel and two serial ports. The board targets applications in telecommunications, industrial automation, defense, medical, and test and measurement. Prices start at $5,281.
