Designed specifically for fast assembly and installation of wall or bulkhead mounted electronics, the Snaptec line of plastic cases is assembled without screws, using instead a snap-in mechanism to provide a secure fixing for the lid while offering rapid assembly. Only a flat screw driver is needed to release the lid, giving quick access to the electronics. A recessed area is also provided in the top for easy fitting of membrane keypads. The cases are sealed from dust and water to IP65 and can be mounted using external brackets or internal fixing holes. Fastening pillars are molded into the base for fitting pc boards, mounting plates and other assemblies. The boxes measure 3.94" x 3.94" x 3.15" deep with two smaller sizes planned. Custom cases are available.
