Self-Locking Handle Fits cPCI And VME64 Apps

The insertion and extraction of 19" CompactPCI, VME64 extension and other Eurocard boards is made easier with firm's line of high-leverage, self-locking injector handles, which conform to the IEEE 1101.10 specification for VME64 extensions, CompactPCI and other Eurocard modules.The handles also feature a positive secure lock in the inserted position to prevent any accidental extraction of boards. The self-locking design incorporates a moving pivot for optimal leverage. In addition, the handle has a separate sliding element that locks plug-in units into the subrack without screws. Beneficial for high-availability and redundant systems, the sliding element actuates a micro-switch that signals the CPU that a board is being disconnected.
