The IPM100 intelligent servo drive is claimed to have high level axis control functions such as master, slave, and stand alone operation for brushed and brushless dc motors up to 100W. Measuring 104 x 64 x 7 mm, the device is capable of 3A continuous drive and 9A peak drive, at supply voltages ranging from 12 to 36 Vdc. It is designed to interface with motors that incorporate encoder and/or Hall sensor feedback. The company's embedded motion language software features a high-level command protocol, used by the host via on-board RS-485/232 interfaces. In stand-alone operation, the IPM100 can be operated using programmable I/O or analog inputs to control the function of the servo drive.
