Sine-to-Sine Wave Clock Buffer Keeps A low Profile

the CDC3S04 logs in as the smallest four-channel sine-to-sine wave clock buffer.
Promising to reduce board space, the CDC3S04 logs in as the smallest four-channel sine-to-sine wave clock buffer and it allegedly can replace up to three individual same-frequency TCXOs. Measuring 1.6 mm x 2 mm in a WCSP, the device also integrates a low-dropout regulator that acts as a TCXO on/off switch. Reportedly, the buffer distributes sine-wave signals to four different peripherals while adding negligible phase-noise and minimizing EMI. Additionally, the chip provides an I2C interface. Price is $1.80 each/1,000. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX. (800) 477-8924.
