Tailored for use on pc boards, the SPST 1K2 changeover slide switches occupy 10 x 2.5 mm of board space and stand just 4.5 mm high, excluding the actuator. The switches are available with a pin pitch of 2.54 mm, as well as straight or 90° configurations with either standard or raised actuator heights. Contacts are gold-plated nickel with an option of extra gold plating for operation in saline or damp environments. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, and the contacts are capable of switching up to 24V maximum and handling up to 6W. Contact resistance is less than 22 milliohms and electrical lifetime is 1,000 operations or 10,000 mechanical cycles. For prices, call Dan DiGioia at EAO SWITCH CORP., Milford, CT. (203) 877-4577.
