Packed in a slim case, the FTR-F4 series dual-contact, 5A, TV3-rated relay can be combined with the company's low-profile FTR-F1 power relay to minimize occupied pc board space. Applications for the slim power relay range from EMI protection in CRT monitors to HVAC systems and power supplies.Relay specifications include a 6-mm minimum insulation distance between coil and contact, a 5-kV dielectric strength, and the ability to withstand voltage surges up to 10 kV. With a 120-vac, 51A maximum inrush current and its 94V-0 flame-resistant insulation materials, the FTR-F4 complies with UL, CSA, VDE, and SEMKO safety standards and conforms to IEC.The relay comes in a 2 Form A (DPDT) contact arrangement with 5-, 6-, 9-, 12-, 24-, or 48-vdc coils with a 530-mW sensitivity. Its cadium-free contacts also meet ISO 14000 specs.
