Smartcard MCU Exploits ARM SC100 Core

Targeting SIM/USIM card manufacturers and network operators, the AT91SC25672RC is described as a high-end smartcard secure microcontroller based on the ARM SecurCore SC100 CPU core. The device provides 256 KB of compact ROM and 72 KB of EEPROM and occupies less than 20 mm squared of board space. According to the company, the combination of the 32-bit RISC core and 10 KB of RAM make the device particularly suitable for JavaCard applications.
