Addressing high I/O board-stacking designs, the B2B surface-mount connector line now includes a 500-position member with a 1.27-mm pitch. The connector sports a standard mated height of 6 mm and exhibits a low insertion and withdrawal force. Similar to existing members of the line, it employs screw-machined terminals with multi-finger contacts and the company's proprietary solder-ball terminal design. With a current rating of 3A per pin, more contacts are available for data/signal transfers while fewer pins are sacrificed for power and ground. The RoHS-compliant connectors come on tape and reel.
