Employing what is said to be an economical, self-leaded flat-wire surface-mount package, the DR356 series inductors offer an inductance range from 580 nH to 2.3 µH (+20%) and a current range from 22A to 12A. Custom inductance values are available. Direct current resistance values range from 1.45ohms to 4.3ohms. In terms of conserving board space, maximum height for the inductors is 4.7 mm with a footprint of 12.6 mm x 12.6 mm. The maximum height for DR356-2 series inductors is 5 mm with a footprint of 12.6 x 12.6mm. The components employ UL94V0 materials and can operate at temperatures ranging from -40ºC to 105ºC. They are also compatible with convection and other surface-mount assembly processes. Available on tape-and-reel, price is $1.39 each/10,000. DATATRONIC DISTRIBUTION INC., Romoland, CA.
